Hotel Overview

Originally a wooden mansion built at the end of the 19th century, the building became derelict and was rebuilt in the late 1970s/80s preserving its original style and structure. Now furnished in a 19th century winter mansion style, the hotel has a world-wide reputation. The hotel has a restaurant in the lobby area, however during the summer months breakfast is served in the beautiful garden, where it is also possible to enjoy a snack or drink during the day and evening. Comprising 19 guest rooms, the air-conditioned establishment features 24-hour reception and check-out service, a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities, a cloakroom and wireless Internet access. For additional fees guests may take advantage of room and laundry services.

## Location
The hotel enjoys an enviable position in the historic Hippodrome of Constantinople area of Istanbul, between Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. Most of the historic attractions are within about a 1 kilometreradius but if a visit to the present day city beckons, Taksim Square is approximately 4 kilometres away. Links to the public transport network are within some 100 metres. Atatürk International Airport is situated at a distance of approximately 18 kilometres and Sabiha Gökçen International Airport roughly 46 kilometres.

## Rooms
The rooms are furnished in the style of a 19th century winter mansion. They have an en suite bathroom with shower/WC, a hairdryer and central heating and air conditioning. A direct dial telephone, minibar, safety deposit box for an extra charge, double bed and ironing set are also provided.
