Westin New York Times Square is located in New York's world famous Theatre District just a few short blocks from Broadway. Westin New York Times he Square opened in 2002 as an instant landmark. It consists of a 45-story, glass tower of bronze, aqua, and purple split by an arc. After dark, the arc is lighted and projects a beam into the Manhattan sky. Guestrooms feature contemporary decor in a gray-and-black color scheme with satin-finish, stainless-steel accents and black furniture. The walls are gray with abstract art, black-and-gray leather headboards, slate entries and bathrooms, and sliding frosted-glass bathroom doors. A health spa includes a fitness center with views of the Hudson River. Environmentally friendly, the Westin has implemented a number of programs to recycle, conserve water, and maximize energy efficiency throughout the hotel.
