Hotel Overview

The W hotels are built for socialising as much as for sleeping. Late check-ins, in fact, may find a party going on in the lobby. The living room, complete with DJ and velvet rope, doubles as the reception. Among the creature comforts are thick terrycloth robes and a travel bag stuffed with Bliss bath products. On the rooftop guests will find the beach bar, with a heated sand floor and a fire pit for those surprisingly brisk San Diego nights.

## Location
This Downtown high-rise is ideally located for a night of revelry, a short walk from Little Italy and the Gaslamp Quarter entertainment district.

## Rooms
The hotel is good for more than just chic décor - these rooms are packed with function as well. Beds are outfitted with pillow tops and goose down duvets, and the gadgetry includes DVD and CD players and high-speed Internet access. Upstairs the guest rooms are as stylish as guests would expect, tailored to the location, trading the dusky reds and greys of some other W hotels for a sort of Southern California nautical scheme in bright blue and white.

## Meals
The Rice restaurant serves a global cuisine, and there's always something going on in the Living Room. Guests looking for a more intimate venue can escape to the adjacent Magnet Lounge.
