A pretty, cosy property offering easy access to Vilamoura, the Villa Diana has lots to offer couples and older families. Set in flourishing gardens in a peaceful villa estate and adorned with bright bougainvillea, its quaint rounded turret and whitewashed facade make it look and feel quintessentially Portuguese. Consisting of well-maintained lawns enclosed by low hedges and peppered with trees, the sunny garden forms a relaxing oasis in which to unwind. The unusual triangular pool is tucked neatly into a corner and is perfect for taking quick, refreshing dips after bouts of sunbathing. Overlooking the lawns is a delightful terrace area shaded with bougainvillea and complete with built-in barbecue, which is perfect for lingering over al-fresco meals out of the sun or as a meeting place for chilled-out evening drinks. Doors from here lead into the surprisingly spacious interior where you will find a simply decorated yet comfortable sitting room centred around a charming hearth, and a traditionally furnished dining area with arched windows occupying the turret room. The simple, cosy theme extends to the bedrooms and the bright, galley-style kitchen is well equipped. With Vilamoura centre a short drive away, and a supermarket and restaurants close by, the Diana makes a really convenient and homely base. NB.
