Getting to the hotel: A 30-minute journey from Punta Cana International Airport.
 
Local tips: 90 minutes from the harbour and 3 hours from the capital. Buses and taxis available outside the hotel. There are 48km of fine sandy beaches to enjoy at Punta Cana; or take an excursion to the nature reserves of Manati Park Bavaro or the Indigenous Eyes Ecological Park.

FACILITIES:Food, drink and entertainment: El Mirador Restaurant serves a buffet breakfast (American and continental), lunch and evening dinner of international dishes and themed evenings; El Bucanero Restaurant offers a mini buffet lunch and a la carte evening dinner of Mexican cuisine; evening a la carte dining is available at La Trattoria (Italian), La Proa (Caribbean dishes) and Estrella de Mar (international cuisine); El Calypso Bar serves snacks and drinks; El Cano serves a seafood BBQ every Friday evening; and there are further bars: Bar Playa, Patio Bar, Lobby Bar and a Disco Bar. There is a regular evening entertainment programme.
Please note that the following dress code is obligatory for dinnertime in the Restaurant La Trattoria: : long trousers, dress shoes, polo-shirt or shirt for men.
