Hotel Overview
The Victoria Hotel is centrally located in the city of Cork, half way down Saint Patricks Street. If you are looking for a central location this is the right place. Built in 1810 the Victoria Hotel is the oldest and most historic hotel in Cork City. Many leading Irish politicians frequented the hotel including Charles Stuart Parnell, James Joyce recounts his stay in Portrait of an Artist and, Sir Winston Churchill had dinner in the hotel during a visit to Ireland. The hotel also has strong ties with the Gaelic Athletic Association, (GAA) with the second ever meeting taking place in the hotel on the 27th of December 1884. There is a Cork Airport shuttle coach available.
