Originally opened in 1927, the historic 15 storey mayfair hotel offers old world style with many original features combined with gracious service and a friendly welcome. Located just 4 blocks from the subway and with numerous bus-lines available from outside the hotel, guests have easy access to many of la's attractions including the garment district, 7th market place shopping centres, chinatown, little tokyo and olvera street. Great value for money!After a full day's business or pleasure in this vibrant city, guest can enjoy a workout in the exercise room followed by international cuisine in the art-deco orchid gardens atrium restaurant ¿ followed by drinks and cocktails in the bar.All 180 air-conditioned en-suite rooms are tastefully furnished and boast good amenities including satellite tv with in-house movies, safe, tea/coffee making facilities and hairdryer.The hotel is renovating the top 4 floors and elevators. Works are carried out Monday to Friday 10am – 1:00pm and very little noise is expected. During the renovations two elevators out of three will be working. The hotel is expected to complete the renovation by the end of March 2016.
