##Location
Crane Beach is world famous for its wide array of blues, turquoises and aquamarines and the pink, powder soft sand underfoot. The beach is protected by a natural coral reef, and is one of the best swimming areas on the island of Barbados. Besides being safe and having a gentle descent from shallow to deep, it's also soft on your feet as there are no sea urchins, stones or coral underneath. The only surprise you might have is the occasional turtle swimming along the outer perimeters. Nearby St Philip is the largest parish on the island, and a rugged and picturesque place to explore.
