Hotel Overview

Renovated in 2006, the Thalassa Sousse Hotel is a modern, stylish property set in attractive gardens next to its own section of private sandy beach in the popular Tunisian resort of Sousse. The town is built around a walled medina and has a good selection of shops, restaurants and bars. There is a casino within two miles of the resort and it is five miles to the marina of Port El Kantaoui and the golf courses.

The Hotel Thalassa Sousse has 487 guestrooms spread between bungalows and low rise buildings throughout the gardens. The exterior of the hotel is built in a Moorish style whilst the interior is light and contemporary. All guestrooms are equipped with air conditioning and satellite television as well as en-suite facilities and a private balcony or terrace.

Plenty of facilities can be found onsite including a large outdoor activity pool, a relaxation pool, a children's pool, a pool with slides and an indoor pool. There is a mini club for children aged between 4 and 10, junior entertainment for children aged between 10 and 14, tennis courts, a mini golf course, non-motorised water sports, five restaurants and seven bars.

The Thalassa Sousse is also home to the Elyssa Spa which has 12 treatment rooms, a Turkish bath, an indoor swimming pool, a fitness room, a beauty parlour and a hairdressing salon. Professional therapists provide a range of treatments including massages, body wraps, manicures and pedicures that will leave you feeling relaxed and revitalized.

##Eating and Drinking
The hotels main buffet style restaurant serves international cuisine and is open for breakfast (6am to 10am), lunch (12.30pm to 2pm) and dinner (6.30pm to 9.30pm). The hotel also has an international a la carte restaurant (7pm to 10pm), a Tunisian restaurant (7pm to 10pm) from May to October, a fish restaurant (7pm to 10pm) from June to October and a beach BBQ restaurant (12.30pm to 4pm) which opens for lunch from May to October. Refreshments are available at the lobby bar, terrace bar and American bar (10am to midnight), the café (3pm to midnight), the disco bar (11pm to 2am) and at the pool bar (10am to midnight) from April to October, the cocktail bar (4pm to 9pm) from May to October and at the beach bar (10am to 6pm) also from May to October.

##Swimming Pools
The hotel has a large outdoor activity pool, a swimming pool with slides, a children's pool, a relaxation pool near the beach and an indoor pool which is heated from November to March.
