Hotel Overview

The St James's Club & Villas by Elite Island Resorts sits on a 100 acre estate with super views and 2 white sandy beaches. The popular English Harbour, Nelson`s Dockyard and Shirley Heights are just a few minutes drive away. Much of the island is covered with banana, mango and coconut groves, lush vegetation and rainforest as well as a number of old sugar mills and pleasant little churches.

##Location
This large resort style property has developed around the centrally located guestrooms, pool, restaurants and recreational activities. There are regular visits from passing yachts adding to the already glamorous atmosphere. Scuba diving is available for an extra charge from the hotels onsite PADI dive centre whilst complimentary watersports include snorkeling, windsurfing and kayaking, with instruction readily provided.

The hotel has 161 guestrooms in seven three and four storey multicolored buildings forming a U-shape around a central pool and garden courtyard. The interior decor features cool tropical colors and tiled floors. The property is a 20 minute drive from the capital, Bridgetown. For golfers, there is the opportunity to play golf at the nearby Sandy Lane course which has great views out to sea.

As of February 2013 a range of spa holidays on offer at this resort, guests can choose from a range of treatments including reflexology, massage, facials and wraps and enjoy five 45 minute treatments within a one week all-inclusive stay. This is an ideal choice for couples seeking a romantic escape or groups looking for true relaxation.

##Eating and Drinking
The three main restaurants are located near the pool, by the water`s edge or on a panoramic hillside overlooking Mamora Bay. Each has its own style with buffet and a la carte options, International and Caribbean dishes and attentive service. There is also a less formal restaurant, 3 beach and poolside bars and 2 bars where you can enjoy evening cocktails. The AI programme includes all meals (breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner); all beverages (name-brand liquors, house wine by the glass, Caribbean beers, tropical coolers and soft drinks); welcome cocktail upon arrival. NOTE: A supplement applies at the Piccolo Mondo Restaurant.
