The hotel is located about 10 minutes' walk from the centre of Interlaken in the peaceful suburb of Matten, next to the main road leading up to Grindelwald.The hotel restaurant is located next to the lobby. It has a window the full length of the front of the building overlooking the street. The decor is simple and rustic with heavy wooden tables and chairs. The restaurant is also very popular with the locals.The hotel is a modern hotel building.The lobby is small, with a pale wooden reception desk and a small seating area.This is a friendly and uncomplicated family-run hotel.
