Hotel Overview

This hotel was newly opened in 2000. It is located in a spacious park area with a total of 471 rooms in eight 2-storey buildings as well as 28 villas. As well as a lobby area with a lobby bar, the hotel also offers its guests a variety of shops (boutique, jeweller's shop, photo and souvenir shop, tobacconist) a hairdresser and a nightclub. Dining options include 5 air-conditioned restaurants; of which 1 is a buffet restaurant and 4 are speciality restaurants (gourmet, Japanese, Italian and Mexican). In addition, room and laundry services are available on request as well as Internet access. The hotel additionally offers car parking and garage facilities to its guests.

## Location
This hotel is situated on the north coast of the island, in a peaceful location, only around 5 km from the tourist district of Puerto Plata, where a variety of shops and entertainment venues as well as various attractions are to be found (a shuttle service is offered from the hotel). This hotel features 250,000-m² gardens in a former Hacienda. Furthermore, the transfer time to the airport is around 45 minutes.

## Sport
In the large garden area, guests will find an attractive water landscape with 2 pools, 4 Jacuzzis and a poolside snack bar, surrounded by a sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols (included in the price by the pool and beach). Further facilities include a spa area with a sauna and steam room as well as health treatments and massage services. Sport enthusiasts may play a game or tennis, table tennis, beach volleyball, darts, bocce or badminton. Finally, various water sports are on offer from local providers on the beach (additional fees apply) such as diving and windsurfing courses. Sport's facilities include a gym where guests can exercise and aerobics classes. A seasonal entertainment programme for all ages including sport and games is on offer to guests. Every evening, guests will find shows in the auditorium (on a seasonal basis).

## Meals
Guests are offered buffets for breakfast, lunch and evening meals. Lunch as well as the evening meal may also be chosen from the à la carte menu.
