Hotel Overview

Built from traditional timber weather board, the 3 and 4-bedroom cottages have solid timber floors, raked timber ceilings and are fully appointed to a very high standard. There are 16 cottages in total. It has a lobby with hotel safe, conference facilities and Internet access. On-site parking for 2 cars is also available for all cottages as well as a boat park on site. Younger guests may like to take advantage of the playground.

## Location
Tranquil and relaxed, located in the Bay of Islands, the hotel is only a 3-hour drive from Auckland and echoes the charm and history that is Russell. Adjacent to the historic school site, on Chapel Street in the heart of the village, and only a short stroll from the waterfront, this cottage resort is nestled amidst established trees, and beside a running brook.

## Rooms
Available as both 1 and 2-bedroom cottages, as well as 3 and 4-bedroom, the resort has accommodation to suit all, from couples and honeymooners to families. Up to 8 persons can sleep in one cottage. All 1, 2, 3 and 4-bedroom cottages feature separate lounge/dining area, as well as a fully-equipped kitchen (fridge, oven, microwave, tea/coffee making facilities) and laundry (washing machine, ironing set). En suite bathroom, hairdryer, safe-deposit box, direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, radio, hi-fi system and Internet access all feature. Gas log open fire places also come as standard (individually adjustable). All rooms come with king-size beds. Balconies and terraces also feature. The cottages offer space to work, to entertain, to relax, and to host family and friends, as well as all the home comforts guests have come to expect from accommodation of this pedigree.

## Sport
Guests can feel free to take full advantage of the heated outdoor swimming pool with sun loungers and parasols. A dip in the Jacuzzi spa bath also comes recommended. Massage and spa treatments are also available to guests, though both are subject to fees.

## Meals
BBQ facilities overlooking the central pavilion and pool facilities feature. Gourmet continental breakfast hampers are also available.

Reception hours are from 8 am to 7 pm. If intending to arrive after 7 pm guests are requested to advise reception in advance.
