The restaurant has a good reputation for its carvery dinners and has a very informal and relaxed atmosphere.A modern looking, pale brick building, set across 4 floors. Very attractive because the river flows directly at the side of the hotel. Limited parking available at the hotel, but must be pre-booked with hotel in advance.The lobby is rather small upon first appearance but around the corner behind reception is a very large seating area.A very good, first-class hotel, ideally located for visitors to the old town of York. ** Please also note that the hotel does not accept all male or all female group parties.
