The hotel is situated in the heart of Paris in a well-known Luthiers (violin-makers) district, 5 minutes from the Saint Lazare railway station, which provides excellent connections to any part of Paris. It is within a walking distance from the Opera Garnier and the famous shopping centres like Galeries Lafaytte and Printemps, and within easy reach of Montmartre.There is a particularly attractive breakfast room, with a huge Art Deco style glass roof.The hotel was built at the end of the XIXth century and benefits from a prize winning architecture (l'Exposition Universelle 1898).The lobby is small, with a few steps leading up to the lounge and bar areas. These places are spacious and have been entirely refurbished in summer 2008. Guests may enjoy here a continuous exposition dedicated to Hungarian poet Endre Ady and glance at an instrument collection characteristic to the area.This is a 3-star hotel, considered a very good superior tourist class property.
