Opened in 2007, the Qamardeen hotel is located in the newly developed Old Town district of Burj Dubai, opposite the world's largest shopping mall and the world's tallest tower. The location is within easy reach of the commercial districts of Sheikh Zayed Roiad and Diera, without the traffic problems associated with both, and a short drive from the beaches. The rooms are of a very high standard with decor inspired by the spice trade. Each room features flat screen TV, high-speed internet access, large work desk, mini bar and tea/coffee making facilities. The open plan bathrooms are a unique feature. Frosted glass ensures privacy. There is a fitness centre and outdoor swimming pool with sun deck. There is a Mediterranean-style restaurant, coffee shop and Arabic shisha cafe. The hotel offers excellent superior 4-star value. Please note from the 31st March 2015 a city tax of 15 Dirhams per room per night is required and to be paid locally.
