This hotel is to be found in castle known as the Castelinho (meaning small castle). It was built at the request of King D. Sebastião in an exclusive location. The castle is surrounded by tall walls, parts of which remain today as ruins. The characteristic features of the castle has remained intact and the still flew the Portuguese flag up until quite recently. The castle lies in the historic part of Angra, which has been designated a world heritage site by UNESCO. The city centre is situated within 300 m of the hotel.||Opened in 2006, this 3-storey hotel has a total of 29 rooms, including 1 suite. The lobby offers a 24-hour reception, a hotel safe and lifts.
