The family run Platanista Hotel was renovated during the winter of 2006/07 and offers unique surroundings blending the post modern Mediterranean and Venetian styles. The hotel is just 200 metres from the beach, one and a quarter miles from Kos Town and two thirds of a mile from the marina. There is a frequent bus service available locally.

##Location
The village is quieter than Kos and remains peaceful and relaxed throughout the year. The sand and shingle beach is uncrowded but for a change of pace head for Lambi`s sandy beach and watersports. The island is small enough to explore and wherever you are it is never more than 7 miles from the coast.
