The Pestana Promenade Ocean Hotel is located in a privileged area next to the promenade, in an enchanting area near the Lido on the ocean front, offering its visitors breath-taking views of the sea and the mountain slopes of Madeira Island. Going along the sea shore walkway, with its impressive views over the sea, you will be able to enjoy the invigorating energy of the ocean.
The Pestana Promenade Hotel opened in 2009 and is a part of the renowned Pestana hotel chain. All 110 luxurious rooms and suites offer extreme comfort and modern amenities with a vast majority of the rooms boasting spectacular sea views. Other activities in the area include squash, pedal boats, jet skiing, parasailing, wind surfing and golf at the 18-hole Palheiro Golf Club and the 27-hole Santo da Serra Club.
 
Getting to the hotel: Funchal Airport is 20 km from the hotel.
 
Local Tips: The pedestrian promenade runs along the spectacular coast for about 3 km, edged by botanical gardens and with stunning views and scenery makes taking a stroll to one of the many viewpoints a must!

  FACILITIES:Food, drink and entertainment: Bed and Breakfast accommodation with an option for Half Board. The main Breezes restaurant has a capacity for 86 people inside and 32 outside with unique view over the ocean and pool. The restaurant serves an American style breakfast buffet from 7am to 10.00 am and themed dinners (table d'hote or buffet) from 7pm to 09.30 pm. The modern and elegant Deep-Blue Restaurant, an A la carte has a varied international dinner menu with specialties of Portuguese and International cuisine. The open air Deck – Snack Bar has a superb view over the ocean and the Breezes Cocktail Bar offers service from 5pm to 1am with the projection of live concerts and live music some days of the week.
 
Sports, games and activities: Fresh water outdoor pool, separated area for children, outdoor Jacuzzi with capacity for 15 people, Gymnasium on the 1st floor with cardio-fitness machines and beautiful view over the ocean and the pool, games room with snooker table. The Spa has a luxurious indoor pool with multiple jet streams, Sauna, four treatment rooms, Turkish bath, Aromatherapy, relaxation area and indoor Jacuzzi with capacity for 9 people.
 
Additional: 24-hour reception, Internet access available in the rooms by cable (service against fee), Wi-Fi e-business centre (local surcharge applies), two conference rooms, laundry and dry cleaning service Monday to Friday, lift, medical assistance (surcharge applies), car park (with charge), business centre on the 5th floor (payable), medical doctor on call 24 hours - all major credit cards are accepted.
 
The Pestana Promenade offers €5 per night for each child (from 3 until 12 years old), valid for food & beverages at the hotel. This offer is valid until 10th September 2012 for stays with 7 or more nights. Up to 1 child sharing the room with 2 adults, (subject to room's maximum occupancy). This value is not refundable, neither can in it be used on other services.
  SPECIAL OFFERS:Guests staying here on a Half Board basis are able to enjoy a Dinner & Show at the Casino da Madeira for a €10 per person supplement (payable locally) from Tuesdays to Saturdays. A complementary pick-up service is available with this (drop-off is not included). Reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance at the hotel reception - where a voucher will be issued which must be presented upon pick up. Please note any beverages consumed must be paid at the Casino da Madeira (they are not included in the Half Board supplement & cannot be billed to the room). Children up to 12 years old (inclusive) are free of charge when accompanied by adults. For guests staying here on a Bed & Breakfast basis who would like to enjoy the dinners & shows at the Casino da Madeira should contact the hotel reception upon arrival to find out what the supplement is.
