The Pestana Miramar Garden Resort was built on the site of the historic hotel Miramar and care has been taken to retain some of the architecture and landscaping. The original building holds most of the public areas and has views across the bay. The new building, designed in a rural style and set in tropical gardens, house`s the majority of the rooms. The aparthotel shares the site with the Pestana Village.
