The Palacio do Freixo, built in the 18th century, is a Baroque civil landmark monument in Portugal, built by the architect Nasoni. The pousada maintains the original façades and declared a national monument since 1910, is composed of two interconnected buildings: the Palace, with the restaurant, the bar, social lounges and meeting rooms and the old factory Moagens Harmonia, which nestles the guestrooms, some of them with magnificent views of the river.
