Nearby, the island`s capital Mykonos Town is a labyrinth of narrow whitewashed lanes originally designed to baffle invading pirates and which now has the same effect on the tourists who visit today. Boats for the beaches around the island can be taken 400 metres away and there is a bus stop outside the hotel.
