Nineteen historical buildings, most of which date back to the 17th century, have been united to form the delightful NH Barbizon Palace Hotel Amsterdam, located opposite Central Station and within easy walking distance of most of the city's major attractions. Due to the nature of the buildings the bedrooms vary considerably, some retaining the original oak beams and rafters, whilst others are more conventional. The elegant lobby with its marble pillars leads on to the attractive and informal Hudson's Terrace & Restaurant or for a more formal affair guests can choose the Michelin starred Vermeer Restaurant.
