Hotel Overview

The hotel is the oldest continuously operating boutique hotel in Tasmania. Well positioned in the city, the hotel was first built in 1834. The now fully restored hotel features a restaurant, bar, and conferencing facilities and offers a unique stay in Hobart. The air-conditioned establishment provides 87 guest rooms, a lobby, hotel safe, lift access, a hairdressing salon and room and laundry services.

## Location
The hotel is ideally located right in the heart of the CBD, making it a perfect base for business or sightseeing. Salamanca Market, Constitution Dock and Hobart's shopping centres are all within easy walking distance. Hobart Airport is situated approximately 20 km away.

## Rooms
All the spacious guest rooms in the hotel are designed in Victorian style and are appointed with charming graceful soft furnishings for guests to experience the splendour of a bygone era while enjoying the modern facilities and services. The en suite bathrooms are fitted with a shower, bath and hairdryer. Standard in-room amenities include a double bed, direct dial telephone, TV, radio, Internet access, a safe, minibar, tea and coffee making facilities and an ironing set. The air conditioning and heating are individually regulated.
