Getting to the hotel: 50km from Gran Canaria Las Palmas International Airport.
 
Local tips: The town centre is a 10 minute walk from the hotel and the sandy beach is only 300m from the hotel. Bus station 500m. A 1km promenade links Puerto Rico with Playa de Amadores, a new white sand beach of 30,000m² with a commercial area, surrounded by 40,000m² of garden area. FACILITIES:Food, drink and entertainment: Atlantic Bar & Restaurant poolside offers buffet breakfast and evening dinner, snacks and refreshments during the day, and a sun set terrace; the Allegretto Restaurant serves buffet-style evening dinners; the dining around basis allows choice between onsite venues and local restaurants; and there is an onsite entertainment programme with animation team and thematic nights.
 
Sport, games and activities: Infinity heated swimming pool with hydro massage streams, sun terrace with loungers and parasols overlooking the ocean, qualified life guard (9am-6pm), pool towel hire service; 2 Jacuzzis and massage & therapy treatments available (charge), and a fitness area with exercise cycle, running machine, treadmill and dumbbells.
