Hotel Overview
The Maison Dupuy is located in the French Quarter; in the original seven square blocks along the Mississippi River know as the Vieux Carré or the Old Square. The Maison Dupuy is built on the site of the nation's first cotton press built in 1602 and was eventually purchased by the Dupuy family as their residence. Thus, the name Maison Dupuy. The hotel is based around an inner courtyard with an outdoor swimming pool, heated in winter. The Guest rooms are elegantly decorated in soft cream, beige and gold furnishings. Some have balconies overlooking the beautiful inner courtyard. Dominique's, the Maison Dupuy's restaurant for fine dining, is one of the top seven in the U.S. While the French Quarter Bistro is a great choice for casual Creole dining.
