Hotel Overview
The Alveston Manor has an extensive and varied history; a building on this site was mentioned as far back as the Doomsday Book in Norman times. The original house is a beautiful Tudor building and there have been extensions added to this over the years. Set in its own grounds, the garden features a cedar tree rumoured to be where Shakespeare first performed A Midsummer Night's Dream. All bedrooms have been refurbished and are of a high standard, fresh and contemporary but with traditional elements. There is extensive leisure at this hotel.
