Le Meridien Dead Sea Hotel, as its name suggests, sits on the west shores of the Dead Sea in Israel, approximately one and a half hours drive from Jerusalem and within reach of Israel's many celebrated sites including Massada, Herod's mountain fortress, the Qumran Caves, and the ancient city of Jericho. Overlooking the breathtaking Judean Mountains and surrounded by twelve acres of attractive gardens, the 600 room Le Meridien Dead Sea has plenty of facilities including a superb spa area and will appeal to all ages.

Making the most of its location, guests visiting the spa can enjoy a complete range of health and beauty techniques that utilise the world famous Dead Sea natural minerals and mud. The spa area features a beauty centre, a fitness complex, sulphur and Dead Sea mineral baths, a Jacuzzi, sauna and massage services as well as Dead Sea Mud body masques. There are also two freshwater pools, indoor and outdoor Dead Sea water pools (the outside pool is surrounded by a large lawn with sun-beds, sun-umbrellas and two Jacuzzis), two saunas, a private beach and sulphur pools. Twenty one treatment rooms provide the setting for qualified therapists to carry out diet and anti stress programmes and consultations, herbal treatments, hydrotherapy and a range of massages using hot stones, mud, sea-weed, Aloe Vera and Chiatzio. The hotels on-site clinic, under the supervision of a physician and skilled medical staff, offers post-operative care, examinations, consultations, physiotherapy and acupuncture.

##Eating and Drinking
The hotels exquisite Ein Midbar Restaurant is lavishly designed and enjoys great views. It serves a wide range of a la carte items and exotic beverages as well as special health conscious items and an extravagant selection of homemade cakes and pastries. For refreshments, Olive's Pub opens nightly and is a great place for a drink and live entertainment and Splash, the poolside bar, serves cold beverages, snacks, salads and summertime barbecues and is surrounded by lush greenery and spectacular views.
