Hotel Overview

This charming, family-friendly hotel is a new establishment set inside a building dating back to the late 19th century. The recent renovation, which has only just been completed, has respected all period features and emphasises the frescoed ceilings, the decorated floor pieces and the wooden floors, which have been fitted to suit different points of light. Fully air-conditioned, the historical hotel comprises a total of 7 guest rooms spread across 3 storeys. Guests are welcomed into a lobby with 24-hour check-out service and a hotel safe. On-site facilities include a TV lounge, a café, a bar, a breakfast room and conference facilities. WLAN Internet access is provided and room and laundry services are available, although the latter may incur a fee. Guests arriving by car can leave their vehicles in the nearby car park or parking garage for an additional fee.

## Location
This charming city hotel is situated less than 200 metres from the Fortezza da Basso and the Palazzo dei Congressi - the most important trade fair and conference facilities in Florence and Tuscany. Florence's central railway station, Santa Maria Novella station, and the bus stop (which offers connections to Florence, the rest of Italy and abroad) are a similar distance away, whilst the pedestrianised area with all the most beautiful squares, the Lungarno, the Ponte Vecchio, the Uffizi art gallery, L'Accademia - home to one of the main symbols of Florence: Michelangelo's David - and all the other museums and elegant shops can be found around 800 metres away. Meanwhile, the famous Cascine Park, with its sports facilities and events, exhibitions and markets, is a similar distance from the establishment. A number of restaurants, bars, pubs, nightlife spots, public transport links and tourist attractions can be found in the hotel's immediate vicinity, whilst Pisa is around 100 km away.
