Hotel Overview

Located on one of the most famous streets in Rome, La Dolce Vita via Veneto, the Hotel Savoy is placed on an austere and elegant palazzo situated not far from much of the famous sights and attractions in the centre of the city. This 4* star hotel occupies a period building originally built in 1886 as luxury upper class accommodation and the hotel's name is a tribute to Queen Margaret of Savoy who during the 20th century stayed in the palazzo Margherita next door. Since then the building has received a renovation to its façade in 1999 giving the hotel it's more reserved and elegant look that matches the comfortable accommodation and style of the interior. The hotel features 130 guest rooms spread over 6 floors that all feature traditional and period décor to match the style and feel of the hotel and there are a nice selection of services and facilities that ensure guests at the hotel have a pleasant stay. Some of its best features include the lovely rooftop terrace with its restaurant and bar the perfect place to enjoy a meal or drink while taking in the stunning panoramic views of the city below. There are also useful facilities available for guests looking to stay on business with Wi-Fi available throughout the hotel and several conference rooms that can accommodate up to 120 people, ideal for those important meetings and events. The hotel's great accommodation and services are well complimented by the professional and helpful staff, which will be happy to help you with information on many of the great places to visit in the city from its many attractions to the best places to eat.

As you step out of the hotel on to the famous via Veneto district you will see the area boasts many chic outdoor cafés and restaurants and you may even see some celebrities who like to visit this exclusive location. The nearby Piazza di Spagna is surrounded by many exclusive boutiques and stylish shops on the Via de Conditto where you could spend the day shopping or you can visit some of the famous sights such as Trevi fountain and the Borghese Gallery that are all close to the hotel. Should you choose to explore the area you will pass under the ancient entrance of Porta Pinciana, from there you could take a walk in to the magnificent Villa Borghese Park where there is a museum or take your kids to the Villa Borghese zoo for another fun-filled day out.

The 130 comfortable rooms at the hotel all feature modern amenities including air conditioning, satellite TV, mini-bar, safety deposit box, Wi-Fi internet, direct dial telephone, electronic locks, smoke detectors and a bathroom complete with a hairdryer.

##Eating and Drinking
A complimentary buffet breakfast is served in the hotel's cosy breakfast room each morning with all the usual continental choices to help get the day off to a good start.

The Roof Garden Bar and Restaurant provides a truly memorable setting to enjoy lunch and dinner at the hotel, with its pretty green surroundings and beautiful panoramic views over the city as you enjoy your meal. The restaurant is open from 12:30pm till 2:30pm for lunch and 7:30pm till 10:30pm for dinner, serving some of the finest Mediterranean dishes with seasonal choices and made from local produce.
The bar also located on the hotel's pretty rooftop terrace provides a warm and relaxing atmosphere perfect for enjoying cocktail or a glass of wine in the company of friends or family and is open from 11am till late at night.
