The large Kleopatra Euro Hotel has a prominent position in the centre of Alanya, close to the beach. Alanya is a popular resort that sits at one end of a rocky promontory, jutting into the Mediterranean between two long sandy beaches. A 13th century fortress crowns the headland, with 150 towers dotted across the skyline. Within the walls of the fortress are ruins of mosques and a cistern, a Byzantine church, a caravanserai and a covered bazaar.

The Kleopatra Euro Hotel is 300 metres from the nearest beach. A good choice for a holiday in Turkey, Alanya has modern hotels, numerous fish restaurants, cafes and bars. The cafes that ring the harbour are popular with tourists. From the park in the town, the road runs along the coast to the harbour, and is lined with plenty of boutiques selling handicrafts, leather, clothes, jewellery and handbags.
