Most famous for its history and ancient buildings it has unsurprisingly been designed a UNESCO World Heritage Site with some of the major attractions being the Roman Collesium, the Pantheon built in 118 AD by Emperor Hadrian and the impressive site of 18th century Trevi Fountain.
The city is also has everything you need for shopping too with traditional markets selling local produce and crafts such as the Campo de Flori that has been held for the last 140 years, to famous streets Via Condotti and Via Cola di Rienzo where you can find all the famous fashion names as well as cafes, boutique shops and much more.
