The Grand Hotel Cavour is in the historical centre of Florence on the Via del Proconsolo close to both the Piazza della Signoria and the Piazza del Duomo. The building in which the Hotel Cavour sits dates back to 1280 and has 103 rooms that have been created with a focus on comfort and eye to Italian style. The hotel also has a popular restaurant and wine bar and even a mini spa with a gym, Turkish bath, cascade shower and relaxation room.

Florence is set in the Italian region of Tuscany, on the banks of the River Arno. The city is the perfect place for art lovers and the galleries house some of the finest collections of paintings by masters such as Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo and Botticelli. It is a network of medieval streets and best explored on foot, with cathedrals, piazzas and palazzos adding to its beauty.

##Eating and Drinking
The Angel Restaurant offers a menu where traditional recipes have been reinterpreted to offer you brand new flavours and local products. It is open from 7.30pm to 10.30pm. The hotels Wine Bar opens between 6pm and midnight and serves tasty appetisers, aperitifs and cocktails. The Angels Restaurant and Wine Bar is closed on Sunday. There is also a breakfast room where you can enjoy a substantial buffet style breakfast every day.
