Gouves is the ideal choice for a relaxed holiday on Crete being a smaller and quieter resort, with a pretty old town and a sandy beach. The seafront area has a selection of cafes, bars and restaurants and the town, small boutiques and souvenir shops. The beach offers a water sport centre with all the usual activities and nightlife in the resort is low key and relaxed. Local attractions in nearby Hersonissos include a number of restaurants, shops, bars and night clubs for guests to enjoy.
