Gild Hall, a Thompson Hotel features 126 guestrooms including 10 luxurious suites. The rooms are warm and sophisticated, with rich colors of chocolate and red. Classic pieces are layered with modern elements to create a tasteful, timeless style. Leather covered headboards and elegant custom-designed wooden furniture are directly inspired by pieces that Jacques Adnet designed for French Fashion house Hermes during the 1950's. Decorative wallpaper is inspired by superstar designer of the '60's and '70s, David Hicks. Throughout the design, there is a classical European sensibility mixed with American contemporary tastes-a harmonious blend that results in a comfortable, cozy, and luxurious stay. Gild Hall is located in the heart of the Financial District - the fastest growing neighborhood in Manhattan. Nestled on Gold Street, at the corner of Platt and William Street, Gild Hall is in walking distance to Wall Street, the New York Stock Exchange, The World Trade Center Site, South Street Seaport, the Statue of Liberty and Battery Park.
