Local tips: just along the banks of the River Lieve in the old harbour district of Ghent are two of the most beautiful streets in Europe. Lined with architecturally interesting buildings including guild houses many of which can be dated at belonging to the 13th and 16th century's there is so much to look at. The area is also very popular for good cafes, bistros and bars. Ask staff at reception for further information and local guidance.
Please note that a Tourist tax of 3 euros per person per night has to be paid locally. FACILITIES:Dining: a hearty breakfast buffet is served daily featuring well sourced produce beautifully presented. A cosy bar offers the perfect venue to unwind and catch up with friends over a few drinks.
