Hotel Overview

This hotel lies directly on the coast overlooking its own private bay. Although it is only a 12-min drive from the airport and 15 min from the capital Funchal, the hotel is favourably situated amongst greenery and the area is generally peaceful. There is a small supermarket right next to the hotel as well as public transport.||The hotel enjoys the most beautiful views of the Atlantic with 46 rooms over 3 floors.||All rooms have a view of the sea and most have a balcony. There is an en suite bathroom, hairdryer, direct dial telephone, radio, safe and satellite TV in every room. Some rooms have an adjoining door for use by larger families. On request the hotel can also provide family rooms with a separate niche complete with additional bed.||It lies above its Manta Diving Centre, as well as its Lido Galomar with direct access to the sea and salty swimming pool and is therefore highly recommended for divers. Aqua aerobics classes are also offered along with table tennis, squash, aerobics, basketball, handball, volleyball, badminton, a pool table and darts. The nearest golf course is around 12 km away.||A breakfast buffet is offered each morning and evening meals also come in the form of a buffet.
