This is one resort with two hotels, four restaurants, a saloon, a cocktail lounge, retails outlets, the Borax museum and the setting of Death Valley - truly the jewel in the crown. This four-diamond-rated inn offers its guests luxury and timeless elegance. The ranch, which takes guests back to the early West, has been an operating business since 1881 and was the original home of the now famous Borax 20-mule teams. It is possibly the most uniquely situated hotel in the USA.

This resort is located in the centre of the largest national park in the lower 48 states, which has 3.3 million acres of astounding beauty. The ranch's surrounding landscape features the lowest point in the Western hemisphere, which is approximately 214 feet below sea level, sculptured sand dunes, and the Panamint Mountain Range, peaking at 11,500 feet.
