Hotel Overview

The Elpida Village is situated close to the Istron area of Kalo Chorio just 6 miles from the famous town of Aghios Nikolaos on the island of Crete, well known for the bottomless lake of Voulismeni. This is a low rise complex, styled in the traditional Creten style of local stones and wood, occupying a hillside location only 800 metres (10 minutes walk) from the sandy beach at Agios Panteleimon.

The Elpida Village is surrounded by attractive gardens and offers a variety of accommodation and services that are suitable for all ages. Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. There is a children's playground onsite, a restaurant with the option to dine inside or out and a handy poolside bar. The 24 hour reception is able to assist guests during their stay, and the hotel provides a scheduled shuttle to and from the beaches. Complimentary Wi-Fi is accessable in the lobbty area. For guests who want an active stay, there are many activities on offer, including a fitness room, games room, table tennis, kid's room and even Greek cuisine cooking lessons. Some activities are payable locally.

The area around the Elpida is quiet, there is a supermarket just across the road for your holiday essentials and if you wish to travel further afield without hiring a car, then the bus stops outside. This resort is ideal for exploring the eastern part of this beautiful island.

There is a main restaurant suitable for breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as a poolside snack bar for drinks and sandwiches and a lobby bar serving alcoholic drinks and cocktails.
