The esteemed medieval city of Ghent is home to the Hotel de Flandre, an intimate establishment offering 63 fully-furnished rooms and suites. Situated near a wealth of unconventional bars and some of Belgium's most enthralling museums, this enchanting boutique hotel is made up of two carefully restored buildings, one of which boasts a listed historical Napoleon staircase. Just 50 m from the main building is the Annex with 17 brand new executive rooms featuring a unique design and modern comforts. The annex also offers a meeting room equipped with up-to-date audio-visual facilities.
Local Tips
The hotel is proud to have hosted celebrated guests such as Johann Strauss I who stayed in Ghent during performances of his music in 1838, and noteworthy French writers Chateaubriand and Lamartine. Your visit will be equally rewarding!

Food, drink and entertainment
Breakfast is served every morning and the friendly Bar 1804 on the ground floor is a nice spot to enjoy a drink and open from 7 am to 2 am. You can also ask the folks at reception for the take away menus of some local restaurants who will deliver.
