Local tips: There are shops and restaurants on your doorstep, and the village of Hisaronu has plenty of bars, restaurants and shops as well as lively nightlife.  Oludeniz beach and the Blue Lagoon are within easy reach by local transport (dolmus) running frequently, as is the neighbouring town of Fethiye, approximately 6km away, which offers a market, covered bazaar and plenty of shops, restaurants and bars.  Further afield, the most popular daytrip is Dalyan, the home of the loggerhead turtles and Lycian Rock Tombs, just over an hour away.
