The Salgados Palace is located just outside the centre of Albufeira about 900 m from the dunes at Salgados beach on the Algarve. Getting to the hotel: Faro International Airport is 49 km from the hotel.
Local Tips: This region has some lovely beaches, villages and towns to be explored, and Albufeira town is nearby with vibrant nightlife, and shopping facilities.
There is a free shuttle from the hotel to Gale Beach. The service operates from 9.30am (First departure is from hotel) until 6.15pm (Last departure from Gale beach), the service will break from lunch between 1pm - 2pm. This services will end on 30th September 2014.
  FACILITIES:Food, drink and entertainment: The Salgados Palace has a main buffet restaurant, one a la carte restaurant, and hotel snack bar. In addition there is a lobby bar, a pool bar, Sunset bar, and a seasonal entertainment program.

Sports, games and activities: Three outdoor swimming pools, sun loungers, sunbathing terrace, children's pool, Kids Club from 3 to 12 years old (seasonal), Salgados beach is 900m accessible through a purpose-built pathway over the dunes, Mediterranean style gardens, and the exclusive Salgados Palace Spa equipped with a pool with whirlpool features, chromotherm (waterfalls, sequential jets, float chamber and contra-corrente), Jacuzzi, Sauna, steam bath. There is also a treatment room for couples, 3 massage rooms, beautician parlour, Vichy room, Nausica room, steam shower. Activities around the hotel include an 18-hole Golf Course, sports fishing, scuba diving & snorkelling, boat trips & catamaran, sailing & windsurf, beach water sports, canoeing, water ski and parasailing, water slide parks, horse riding, off road trips, and bird watching.
Please note: Spa is subject to a payment of €10,00 per Guest/day, which includes: jacuzzi, pool with Spa Circuit, steam bath, sauna and gym. The purchase of any treatment includes free access to the Spa Circuit and gym. Guests under 16 are not allowed to use the Spa circuit. It is mandatory to use swimming caps in the pool.
