Hotel Overview

The Club Alvorferias features 161 comfortable studio, one bedroom and two bedroom apartments offering everything you need for a well-deserved rest. Situated 900 m from the sandy beach of Praia do Alvor, the hotel is a great base from which to enjoy Alvor, go a bit further to Portimao (5 km) for great shopping, and experience the excitement of the Algarve night life at Praia da Rocha (8 km). Visitors to this relaxing leisure destination will find their tension and worries melting away while enjoying all that this coastal paradise has to offer. Faro International Airport is 30 km from the hotel.
Local Tips: There are excellent places for night life nearby, like Casino da Rocha that offers international-style cabaret shows.
Please note from 22.10.2015 , the pool over the bridge  will be closined  until 1st May 2016.Guests will be able to use the pool  by the reception which has capacity for all guests in resort. 
This side of the complex[ reception side ] will be open on the 1st May 2016.
  FACILITIES:Food, drink and entertainment: Self Catering accommodation with options for Bed and Breakfast and Half Board. On site restaurant, pool bar/snack bar, two supermarkets (will be open from the 17th April), and Satellite TV lounge. Evening entertainment includes live music and a disco (details may vary according to the time of year and the number of people involved).
Please note the restaurant and bar will open from the 1st May.
Sports, games and activities: Two swimming pools, children's pool, sun terrace with sun beds and parasols, children's playground, two tennis courts, games room, entertainment including children's hour, special golf rates available for the Alto golf course. Golfers will find the most elite Golf Courses on the Algarve close by including Alto Golf Course (4 km), Penina Golf Course (6 km),  as well as Palmares Golf, Gramacho Course and Salgados Golf Club all within 35 km of the hotel.
 
Additional: Reception, safe deposit boxes available (for hire locally), shops, laundry, Mini Bus to the Beach (payable locally).
Please note the Reception will operate between 09.00 - 13.00 and 14.00-18.00hrs from the 1st March till end of April. Closed Sat, Sundays and public holidays.
Please note: The pool over the bridge will be closed from 22.10.2015 for the season. Guest could use the pool by the reception. This is valid  for May 2016 as well.
