Hotel Overview
The newly renovated Capitol Skyline Hotel is just five blocks from the U.S. Capitol and the Library of Congress and conveniently located near the Navy Yard Metro leading to the National Mall monuments. The Capitol Skyline Hotel was originally designed by architect Morris Lapidus, whose earliest works defined the Miami Beach-resort style. The hotel still retains a space-age exterior and other retro elements. Guestrooms at the Capitol Skyline have pool or Capitol views, and bathrooms with granite countertops and tiled floors. Diverse American fare is served in Lapidus Restaurant. A seasonal outdoor pool, surrounded by chaise lounges, features poolside food and beverage service.
