Hotel Overview
The Casita-style Camelback Inn, a JW Marriott Resort & Spa is set between Camelback and Mummy mountains and surrounded by the residential town of Paradise Valley. This famed resort opened in 1936 and has retained an easy-going Navajo/Western ambience characterized by the original adobe-brick lobby, with a gas fireplace, leather seating, painted-beam ceiling, and wagon-wheel chandeliers. Camelback Inn offers spacious guestrooms in one- and two-story, cream- colored casitas. Southwestern pottery and art grace rooms, which feature balconies or patios accessed through French doors and furnished with two-chair dining sets and lounge chairs. Camelback Inn features a huge spa, a large pool complex, a shuttle between the resort's two championship golf courses, a supper-club, and Mexican and spa-cuisine restaurants.
