The hotel Astoria is a quiet, friendly base from which holiday makers can explore the nearby beaches of Calangute, Candolim and Morjim. The family run Astoria is based in a 200 year old Portuguese mansion which is complimented by a beautiful garden. The hotel is a charming and tranquil setting for any travellers who wish to have a home away from home from which they can better explore their surroundings. There is both a restaurant serving international cuisine and specialising in typical Goan dishes, and a bar where guests can relax and unwind with a refreshing drink.
The friendly staff at the 24 hour front desk are multilingual are more than happy to assist with tour arrangements and provide information about the area and nearby attractions.

The hotel is tranquil and friendly, so you could be forgiven for simply wanting to stay there and relaxing in the beautiful surroundings. Yoga and massage sessions take place at the hotel, as does occasional evening entertainments in the form of live bands. Furthermore, the local public transport services opens up access to the rest of the city.
