Renovated in 2003, this 3-storey hotel comprises a total of 55 rooms of which 3 are suites and 1 room has been adapted for use by disabled guests. Amongst the facilities available to uests are a lobby with a 24-hour reception desk, lift access and a dining room. Since its renovation, the hotel has offered a range of high standard amenities. Staff welcome guests warmly and are available to answer any queries that guests may have at all times. Following a tiring day, guests are able to kick back and relax in the spacious lounge area where tempting afternoon tea and light snacks are served. It is possible to enjoy a pre-dinner drink in the lounge bar before feasting on a sumptuous meal in the Cavendish à la carte restaurant where an extensive array of dishes and wines are on offer. ## Location
This hotel is located at the heart of Derby and is ideal for both business and leisure travellers. A bus stop and Derby train station are to be found a stone's throw away and it is 10-15 minutes' walk to a selection of shops, restaurants, bars and nightclubs. Guests may enjoy a stroll around Derby, or pay a visit to one of the many local attractions, such as Alton Towers, Chatsworth House or the American Adventure theme park. East Midlands Airport is approximately 19 km away whilst it is 20 minutes' drive to Nottingham.

Each of the tastefully decorated rooms is carpeted and comes with an en suite bathroom, a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, a TV with Sky channels, a radio, Internet access, coffee and tea making facilities, a trouser press, a double bed, and a terrace. Central heating comes as standard.
