Hotel Overview
The centrally located 2-star Arcadia Hotel is housed in a building dating back to the 1600's, which, for centuries, was the property of an aristocratic Roman family. Situated midway between the train station and the Rialto Bridge, the hotel can be easily reached by foot, or by waterbus, and offers visitors the opportunity to experience the lively Cannaregio district of Venice. The old Jewish Ghetto, Piazza San Marco and Grand Canal are all within a stone's throw of the hotel, as are the myriad churches, monuments, restaurants and endless points of historical and artistic interest. Offering spacious and airy accommodation, rooms at the Arcadia are simple yet elegant - wooden furniture and antique green fabrics partly recreate the atmosphere of this historical Venetian palace, whereas some public areas retain the ambience of a Venetian residence, with antique stuccos, wooden beams and fine marble there for all to admire.
