Some of the main attractions being the Plaza de Mina, the Plaza de Catedral where the famous Cadiz Cathedral sits, and other famous sights to see such as the 18th century Tavira Tower, the grand 17th century Admiral's House and modern sights such as the La Pepa Bridge.
The best beaches in Cadiz is the Playa de la Caleta, situated in the old town and one of the best-loved beaches in Cadiz for its unparalleled beauty and close proximity to the Barrio de la Vina. The more touristy and family friendly beach of Playa de la Victoria is also a great choice to enjoy the sun, situated in the newer side of the city you can find a great many shops and restaurants nearby.
Cadiz is also famous for having one of the best carnivals in the world, where you can see many live performances from dancing, plays and the chirigotas, who perform comical musical pieces.
