The Albion South Beach is a boutique hotel designed in 1939 by Ygor Polivirsky known for his Nautical Art Deco architecture (the hotel resembles a majestic ocean liner of the late 1930s). In 1996, the hotel was again transformed by the Avant Garde architect Carlos Zapata. One of the hotels many unique features is the 60 foot mezzanine-level port holed swimming pool and artificial beach.
